Overview

Roomery lets you photograph a room and preview renovations with AI, build cost estimates, and share results. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and the third parties involved. We do not sell your personal data.

Information We Collect

• Photos you upload: The room images you capture or select, which are processed to generate renovation previews.
• Project content: Projects you create — including generated images, the materials/colors you choose, notes, quantities, and cost estimate details.
• A device identifier: A random identifier generated on your device on first launch and stored in the iOS Keychain. It links your projects to your device. It is not your name, email, or Apple ID.
• Feedback you send: If you submit feedback in the app, we store your message along with optional context such as the current screen and app version.

We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or precise location, and the app does not include third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.

How We Use Your Information

• To analyze your room photos and generate renovation previews.
• To save your projects so you can revisit and continue editing them.
• To track your free usage allowance.
• To create shareable estimate pages when you choose to share.
• To respond to your feedback and support requests.

How Your Data Is Stored

Your photos and generated images are stored in Google Cloud Storage, and your project and estimate data are stored in a Google Cloud database, on infrastructure operated for Roomery. Access to images is provided through temporary, expiring links.

Third-Party Services

Roomery relies on the following third parties to provide core functionality:

• Google Cloud & Google AI (Gemini): Your room photos are sent to Google's AI models to detect editable areas and generate renovation previews, and are stored on Google Cloud. See Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Shared Estimate Links

When you create a share link, Roomery generates a public web page containing a snapshot of that project — its before/after images and cost estimate. Anyone with the link can view it, so only share it with people you intend to. The page reflects the project at the time you shared it.

Data Retention & Deletion

We keep your projects and images so they remain available in the app. Deleting a project in the app archives it. To permanently delete your data — including your photos, projects, and device record — contact us at the email below and we will process your request.

Children's Privacy

Roomery is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we will post the revised version on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
